Summary

A young girl named Jamie is the pastor's daughter and she was diagnosed with Leukemia. Jamie wanted to do everything she could to try and get her mind off the fact that she was sick. She was no longer responding to the treatments and she was going to die. Landon Carter was a troubled child and very stubborn. He was forced to join the spring play as a punishment for doing bad things. Jamie was also in the play and Landon asked her to run lines with him because he was bad at memorizing lines. They ran lines together and Landon began to fall in love with Jamie. She told Landon not to fall in love with her becasue she was sick and he didn't listen to her. They fell in love and she became more sick. They got married before she died in the hospital and she then she passed away. Landon was so sad and wanted her back but he couldn't have her back. Jamie taught him a lot. He was no longer a bad person and he had changed for the better. He took life more seriously now because of their love.

I recommend this book to older people. This book was a fantastic love story about two totally opposite people. It proves that opposites attract.
