Enter the Earth (Gaia Girls)
We have read two books this year about young people helping to save the environment, Flush and our current book, Enter the Earth. In both books, the children go to extraordinary lengths to protect the earth. Describe any ways that you have helped the environment and what you might do in the future to help save the planet.

Right now to help the earth i: recycle, use the least amount of electricity as possible and during the summer my family and I walk down our road and around the block with garbage bags and have a garbage pick- up! :)
I recycle everyday
We walk around my block and pick up trash and we walk in other places, too. I also conserve a lot of water when doing regular stuff around the house.
To help the earth I recycle every single chance i get. Also i try and walk to places that i can to reduce the car fumes that go in the air.
I will recycle more often
me and my g-ma plant our own garden.
we don't poison the earth with disgusting poisons.

we don't waste gas going to the store time and time again when you only have to go once for seeds

I remember one day my friend Paige and I went down to the local park and picked up all the garbage we saw. When we were done, we realized it really made an improvement. If everyone in the world picked just one peice of litter then the world would be a lot cleaner. GO EARTH!
