VoiceThread
All Junior High students have an account created for them through VoiceThread's site for education. YOU MUST USE THIS ACCOUNT FOR ANY SCHOOL PROJECTS TO GET CREDIT FOR THEM! Please ask the librarians for your account login.
Your account login will start with your firstname.lastname then the voicethread email and will look like this:
firstname.lastname @gv.ed.voicethread.com
Your password will be your library number preceeded "00. For example, if your library number is 1234, your password will look like this:
001234
To login go to ed.voicethread
You may use your ed.voicethread account for any school projects as it will be your account throughout Junior High.
PICTURES
It is very important that you use copyright friendly pictures for any web based project. Please look on the Creative Commons page for sites that you can get pictures from. Any government or military site (.gov or .mil) is also OK for copyright free pictures.
You must include a works cited page for your VoiceThread:
Put your works cited, including picture credits, on a Power Point slide.
Change the color of you fonts so they will show up on the voice Thread black background.
Then click on the text box so you can see the wrap points and "save as Picture".
Be sure your picture is saved in .jpg format.
Picture credits can be included on the works cited slide as URL addresses.
Be sure all works cited and picture credits are in the same text box that you save as a picture.
