Summary
Vivian Vande Velde creates a character named Wendy, a 15-year-old girl who is less than fond of her glasses. and who is viewed as the "weird kid" at her school. Wendy was without her glasses when someone stepped on them. On her way home, she found sunglasses on her front lawn that surprising matched her prescription. Wendy is eventually chased into another world. Wendy learns about a time before her and about some of her unusual classmates.

Have you ever wondered if fantasy worlds really exist and if people around you could just be in disguise? Now You See It is a great book that can keep your dream alive about believing in other worlds. The best part of the book, in my opinion was Wendy's relationship with her grandmother and how it changes throughout the book. The relationship was very heart-warming for me; however, other people may enjoy the more violent part involving Wendy's former crush Julian towards the middle of the book.

I would definitely recommend this imaginative and adventurous book to other high school students because I think that this book is very compelling and really makes you think and it is also very appropriate for our age group.
